After more than three years of research and development, UPMEM is about to take a new step: the conquest of Silicon Valley. As UPMEM chip is entering production, and commercialization will start in 2019, the start-up will participate from the beginning of October to the autumn session of IMPACT USA.
IMPACT USA is an acceleration program run by Business France and BPI France, leveraging the French diplomatic power to bring French young companies to success in a high-tech, ultra-competitive market.
This ten-week course, in total immersion, aims to shape the company’s strategy, to imbue it with the local entrepreneurial culture. The goal for UPMEM is to prepare the commercialization of the solution on the American market. Six weeks will be devoted to intensive preparation and coaching, followed by four weeks dedicated to the prospects meetings programmed by Business France.
Gilles Hamou, CEO of UPMEM, will fly to San Francisco alongside the three other CEOs of the selected French start-ups: Sinay, Nahimic and Intento Design.
